Until recently, World Response Director Guido Bakker was Procurement Manager at the Global Fund and in this capacity was responsible for co-designing and implementing the Fund's infrastructure to manage health product procurement by its recipients. He now manages World Response consultancy services.
On behalf of Global Fund recipients, World Response consultancy will undertake to:
- Develop procurement strategies
- Develop procurement and supply management plans, or "PSM Plans"
- Conduct needs-assessments for capacity building
- Develop strategies and plans for technical assistance
- Navigate through Global Fund paperwork requirements (including but not limited to PSM)
- Provide other types of technical assistance and capacity building
